  1. here is the biggest problem I have now; all of the bmw parts site show different configurations for the 2 switches. they all are showing 2 wire connectors and mine have 3wire connectors. my cruise cutout switch has a blue connector with 3 wire connector and the one i ordered is not colored with 2 large pins. the other switch on the opposite side of the pedal has a red connector and 3 pins as well. what would this be called and why are mine different than what suppliers show?

I have a 2000 z3 2.5l with left side drive/US model. the cruise control worked intermittent for a few yrs then quit altogether. check fuse #46/good, then figured I would replace the switches down by the clutch pedal. no one here knows anything about them. one switch is to the left of the pedal and the other is to the right; both have a 3 wire connector. i would like to know what are they called and perhaps a part # and a source other than BMW/astronomical to buy them. thank you
