Thanking you for thought and offer .. hard to believe but courier arrived at door yesterday with module ..almost week after been told it had been delivered last Wed and the phone calls/emails hassle trying trace it since , went fit it today and it discovered it doesnt !!!!!!!!!!!! so could i ask if anyone knows where i might buy kit that converts it to 'conventional' and does away with need for module/compressor etc ?? again thanks in advance

As could only happen , courier company saying pkg(module)was delivered yesterday.. except it wasn't.. have checked with neighbours ..no joy.. cant find ph no or email addr for bimmerpartsforless (Millane ind est Brigg!)other thing notice lately is car right down on passenger side rear now...so much so any kind pothole causes serious 'bang' from that corner !!! Trying meantime find someone here (Dublin)who would be able properly identify issue (can't afford main dealer prices) as mechanic who normally looks after car for me is away on holidays (as could only happen ) thinking too again about idea changing it to 'ordinary ' suspension if it comes to it... wondering what sort cost kit do that might be ?? THANKING you again in advance

Brand new in packaging(TYC automotive) passenger side headlight for 2013 520 F10/11 09/13 Halogen W/O LED(part No 471112351) have photos on phone but dont know how add them ...do know how email though if needed 400 euro plus postage from Dublin

Great ta Dave ...i since managed with your advice to find part number for module and with that found one on ebay uk ...approx 55 euro incl postage !!! ...hopefully should have it later this week so fingers etc crossed and thanking you again for your advice and time ...

Ta for that Dave ....mech seems think its where the problem is ut i hear what your saying about never having seen one fail ... rang around today and found out its main dealer only availability !!! so rang them ....never told me sit down before telling me price ........1440 euro PLUS vat ... so definitely have think again ...have seen converting to conventional shocks/springs(?) seems be what some owners do ..have least try get some idea what cost that might be to do that before decide on solution ... might be my age but really really annoying how they just made cars more and more 'complicated' for seemingly no reason other than their idea of progress....iv rallied/rallycrossed imps on and off for 50 years and not alone is their suspension all round very simple/ effective and inexpensive ...but even i can change any/all of it in few hours ...sorry rant over ... Seems my 520 estate ,2013, rear suspension needs a new module ...wondering where best i might get this ...also what sort of cost should be as in as much as i can see prices vary a lot ? ta again in advance

Got to bring it to mechanic i use all the time ....showed him 'report' ...he just started laughing ...he has seen same thing twice already in last 6/9 months with other bmw owners coming from SAME main dealer !!!!!!! guessing they must have surplus damper pulley stock ......

TA for that Dave ....i had bring to main dealers yesterday for manf re call ...steering wheel airbag !!...and when i collected it they said they also done mechanical inspection and gave me a 'report sheet '...he pointed out remark on it which is just three words ''damper pulley cracked'' ...his phone rang and he walked off into another part of building ... drove it home the three or so miles but made me bit paranoid about using it now TA again

Just told today that damper pulley is cracked !! Wondered how critical/,urgent this might be as ideally needed to use car tmrw ?? TA

new to this so not sure if this is correct 'place ' i have a 2013 520 estate ,rear suspension not right !! seems airbags were replaced by previous owner ...mechanic says module has been disconnected at some stage previous ... he hasnt repaired one before but is willing to remove it/try fix it but of course cannot be sure ..am told they are quite expensive though if need be bought ...also see some people replace air one with conventional shocks/springs ...really lost on all of this as to best/easiest,,,, least expensive solution ... thanking ye in advance !!
