    Having made the rooking mistake of closing the boot on my e93. Convertible with battery disconnected. I tried using jump terminals under bonnet but dispite several attempts no luck. Found an easy way to unlock boot. Remove drivers side rear seat swob in front of seat belt, this reveals the rear wiring loom with thick red wire this is the positive wire from the battery, connect 12volt into it and boot will open. Hope this helps .

    Hi. Dave. Thank you for info. However looked in electric box on bulk head but cannot find a Grey / geen wire. Do you know where l can get a wiring diagram for my car incase colours have changed

    I disconnected battery lead on my E93 convertible to connect charger now boot will not open. Can any one help?.
