    Water getting in but from where?

    MurrayBlacket posted a topic in BMW 5 Series Forum
    I have an '87 525e and am having trouble with water getting in - mainly into the driver's footwell. I have had the wind-screeen removed and resealed, and rust removed from screen surrounds. New rubber seals on doors. Underside checked thoroughly. Have checked sunroof and seems watertight - plus no water ingress when driving in rain. The mystifying thing is that the water gets in when car is parked on drive - drive slopes a bit with a tilt towards driver's side. Hence the water in driver's footwell, I suspect. This has my mechanic and me baffled. Any thoughts/suggestions about possible source/fix would be most welcome. Thx.
