I also have the 2025 X5 XDrive 40i with the factory towing package. You state that you can use a weight distribution/sway control hitch. However, my dealer is still saying that it should not be used because of the potential damage to the unibody. Can you please let me know where you received this information. I really want to use the WD hitch, but want to make absolutely sure that it is not something BMW recommends against. Thank you.
