I have a 2007 E70 X5, which has the left hand side headlamp washer missing. The service centre tells me it is due to the fluid freezing. I have purchased a new popup and cover flap, but how is it changed, I can find no references anywhere. Any one know how it's done?

The battery is new with no other problems. How can I check the remote battery?

I am having an intermittent problem with my remote control. sometimes it fails to work and I have to resort to using the key to open the door. it usually happens after not using the car for a while, almost as though the battery in the remote is flat or not charging properly. It is the same for both keys. any suggestions?
