    BMW says part is not available anywhere in the globe!

    Hello fellow Bimmers I own a 645 Grand Coup 2013 model year. The driver side lock was acting up so I took it to a shop in Dallas TX. Two months later I am still waiting for this part that apparently can only come from Germany. The shop says the door cannot be put back as it is the controller for the locking system. Seems hard to believe but a rival dealership corroborates the story and I am not getting any response from BMW America Anyone had this issue before?
