Thanks Dave, I hope the amp does not require registration as I have already ordered a "used" replacement Logic 7 amp. It does have the exact part number as the original. It is an E66 chassis. Thank you for making me aware. If it does not work I can look into the registration issue. Do you know if it is possible for me to do the registration? Thanks again.

Thank you Dave. I have found the realoem site and it is a fantastic source of information. I will look into the Pelican parts site. That sounds very useful as well. I have ordered some parts from https://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com and their prices seem very reasonable and I am assuming they are original OEM parts. Some of the more expensive parts I have been sourcing on EBay. Thanks again for the advice. It is much appreciated. Mike

2007 BMW 750Li My radio does not function properly. front speakers are not working and it seems I only get sound out of the rear door speakers. The channels all seem to work but the sound is very staticky. I tried the optical loop on the devices in the trunk and does not give me any different result. I saw a YouTube video that discribed the very same issue I am experiencing. It says that it is the Logic7 amplifier. I took it out and lost everything. I added the fiber optic loop in and got everything back but no sound at all (no amplifier). I ordered a used amplifier on EBay and will install this weekend. Hope this works. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?

Just purchased a 2007 BMW 750Li and as you may have guessed it has many issues that I need to resolve and I am hoping to find anyone with experience and guidance to help me thru the process. I will be adding separate post with individual topics to ask for advice and assistance on many topics. I have found you tube helpful but limited. FYI ..... I also own a 2013 328i that I will most likely help with as well.
