  3. Okay so I had a 2020 2 series Gran Coupe M Sport 218l. Bought new in July 2020. The only bug bear was the oyster interior. I bought it from stock, as the waiting time for a new build was 9 months. Apart from the colour of the leather, I loved it. BMW finally managed to talk me in to buying a new car at the right deal. As I loved my original so much, I ordered exactly the same model with specs, but a with a black Dakota interior, which is going to be much better for me. I now have the new car, and I've noticed the seat bolsters are much flatter than the 2020 model. The leather also doesn't bounce back in to place. Two days of light use, and the car looks more used than in the 3.5 years I had my other car. BMW say there's been no changes, but when pushed, they said they could have 'skimped a bit' as the seats are not as plump, the bolsters are flatter, the leather feels cheaper, and are just inferior to what was in my other car. I'm not sure what I can do about this tbh. I am hoping someone can share any experience they may have had with similar? Also, the lane departure feature is only working intermittently. I've taken it back to BMW today, and they've seen this for themselves. I know a lot of people don't like this feature, but I do. It no longer works below 40mph. It sometimes kicks in above that, but it seems to pick and choose when it feels like doing it. I've tested it out between 41-70mph and it seems it must be a fault, because there is no pattern to how it when it decides to kick in. There are a few other niggles compared to the 2020 version, like heated seats now take forever to heat up, no M Sport logo on seats or seat belt, and I'm sure I'll find more (only lightly driven it for three days). It is so annoying to buy a brand new car and instead of it being better, it's actually worse than my older model. I just feel like this 2023 model is inferior to my 2020 model, and wondered if anyone else has encountered similar please? TIA.
