Hi Dave thanks for the fast replies. It is a diesel 🤦🏻♂️. Just had 2 people come out and check it over and they both seem to think it’s the timing chain but I’ve had no engine management light come on thanks

Morning Dave. Thank you for the info I’ll have a look at the fused link in the boot. Yes charged it from the points under the bonnet. It was dropped back to me on a flat bed and started up unwillingly. It Just about started up couple mornings ago and it shut itself off after about 10 seconds on the road and hasn’t started since thanks

I have a bmw x1 that has been in a minor accident to the drivers side wing and door. The repairs have been done by a garage and now I’ve got the car back and it will just crank and won’t start up. Had the battery on charge and still nothing. I’ve heard about a fuel cut off switch and a bst but can’t find much info on it
