The screen flashes the grey screen with the BMW logo. It cycles on off at a lazy interval. I tried the three finger reset. No result. I could hand the car over to an audio/electrical specialist who would fit a salvaged unit of unknown condition/age for around £400.... but what is the sensible process of diagnosis ? eg could it be one of the fuses ? what next ? The fact that the screen lights up with the logo suggests, it is not dead, but how not dead is it ? is it barely alive or alive but needs a tweak? I am dying to know and would be really grateful for any advice
