    hi. cant find a link for new topic so.... my passenger door on my x5 d wont open. central locking buttons all working. the handle not engaging. any one know how to get door card off when its shut?
  3. i am the proud owner of a 2002 x5 d sport. ,however when the moosus drives its fine. when i jump in and drive it slightly harder it makes a funny noise underneath. only on acceleration this happens and its like a metal/rubber judder that comes and goes when pulling away fast?????? any one else had same or similar issues? please no speculative answers. its doin my heeds in...................................
  4. how much power you lost? i had a similar problem with mine. 2002 diesel sport. more of a flat spot than power loss tho. my crank case breather was overdue a replacement by 30k mile . should be done at 60k.i might be a mile off but once that was done the smoke went and power returned. read my post bout oil blowin out dipstick. hope this helps.
  5. does anyone know where to get some skinny land rover style wheels to fit x5? getting ready for winter and don,t want to damage me 22" black chrome ones ;) .want cheap as poss, tried ebay etc but nowt as yet.......... cheers

    SORTED!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEW CRANKCASE BREATHER,FULL SERVICE,FLUSH SEASONED DONE!!!!! RUNNING MINT NOW. THE GUYS AT MILL BMW SAID THE BREATHER SHOULD BE REPLACED AT 60K. MINE WAS WELL PAST IT. 96739K! PARTS £96 LABOUR £120 + MY DEALER STAMP. ;) CHEERS............................

    hi my x5 3.0 d is blowing oil out the dipstick when removed.had it to garage and option 1 is too change crankcase breather, flush , additive. 2 engine rebuild if this doesn,t stop the problem. can anyone help?
