    Inner wing cut out

    I'm probably wrong but, the other day when I checked the oil level on the dipstick i noticed a cut out pattern on the inner wing panel and some 'road dirt' on the engine. Should something be there to cover this? Reason I ask is that I don't remember seeing it before. I would be grateful for any info just to ease my mind. Regards Phil

    Thanks Dave for your help, i re charged the battery fom under the bonnet, everything was fine prior to this. The fan speed control still works fine, but the car will only blow hot even when turned down to the 'blue area' on the dial. When I try the a/c it seems to cool very slightly. Everything else works fine.

    Hi, car been stood for a while and battery almost flat, tried turning over but battery died. After recharge heater will only blow hot and that's before using aircon (all worked perfectly before flat battery) when a/c is on it makes very little difference. Any help much appreciated. Regards Phil
