Morning all after having a M135i xdrive for nearly 5 years I decided to have a change and get myself a 520d touring xdrive 2021. Cant compare the two together as both totally different but great cars.

Thanks alot for the replys. I'm sure there is away to do this if I find out ill post it on here. I'm more than certain that in years to come most of us will be doing our own maintenance on cars. Mick

They might do if I asked at a price.they wasn't amused when I said I was doing the front brakes myself.

I've tried that and nothing no brake pad reset. Mick

Thanks I have no button below the speedo .I have looked on you tube and I've tried them all start stop quick 3 times then press b.c button .to show menu.no brake reset just the brake fluid and oil reset . Mick

Hi dave thanks for rhe reply. Unfortunately I have the screen with no odometer button to be able to push in and reset. Its all done by going into the menu on the idrive. 2020 plate f40

I have a f40 m135i x drive and have just changed front pads as the service light came on. Can anyone tell me how I can reset my brake service light on my dash board thanks mick

Thank you dave. Still got 4 mil on them at the moment so not be changing yet. Sytner was trying to get them changed. Would you recomend brembo or oem pads. That's good news I'll do the job myself then. Sytner quoted me £300 just for the pads . Mick

Good evening. I'm nearly ready for replacing g my front pads on my car. Can anyone tell me if the calliper pistons are push back or need to be twisted back at the same time . Many thank mick
