For the searchers out there I've answer my own question.. With it being a 13 plate the ecu has yet to be cracked and as such not a plug and play jobbie... I was advices to wait at least till the warrenty has worn out I'm 2 and a bit years by then the tech should be out there :)

Hi All New owner of a 13 plate 118d sport, been looking over the forum and had a couple of general questions and hope you guys can point me in the right direction..... One the paperwork from BMW it states its Hp is 204 i assume this will be a the flywheel and the actual brake house is 150ish?? or am i wrong? The 4 standard maps on the car are ok, but from reading the site i see most people get theres remapped which is something i want to do, can anyone recommend someone is the Northants area, and what would be the marked improvements? ad n1 specific question as the car has 4 map setting i assume a re-mappering would only change one of the 4 maps (i.e sports+) and leas the other 3 as default? Hi All I'm in the process of buying a 318 is coupe R plate.... looking to pick up some gernal advice and information. But i have slight problem i can't test drive a car till the 21/04/10 lol, how would you say these cars drive?? The last car i drove was a Twin turbo supra on 20/04/09, now i know it will be nothing like that, as i put 10k into that car, but woudl you say there a comfortable ground pounder, with a resinble level of accerlation? Sorry this post is very random
