im about to take the head off the engine but is it right that there are 3 chains at the front of the engine an upper chain lower chain and aoil pump drive.

well started to strip down the engine just cant find a manual on it.

where can i find manuals for fixing my 316i compact from please looking everywhere

Properly silly ? But If I drain all the water and oil over the winter to do bits and bobs on my engine will it b ok or will it damage the engine over the winter.

the bulbs on my headlight and fog switches have blown, i tried pulling the bulb out but they were stuck in and 1 smashed. does any1 know how they come out and if i have to take the dash out to take the whole switches out, if you get what i mean.

ur rite about the spoiler wouldnt do that but any1 got any idea where to get the flared arches.

I was looking through a bmw book the other day and saw a pic of how id like mine to look. It wouldnt be exact but along te same lines what do u think
