    Timing chain

    Hello all My 2010 3 series estate with a n47 engine has broken down.It has been diagnosed that the timing chain has stapped and probably caused more damage.There was no warning and luckily it stapped in my driveway.Has anyone any advice on pricing to get a new engine fitted and other possibilities of it being fixed.     Hello All A fellow BMW owners recommended a website on how to find out what my built specification was.Can anyone recommend how to get this?Any help will be appreciated.
