  1. Hi I’ve just bought my 320d last week and I’m having the same issue, the switch above the start button has a red light that comes on indicating the stop start is switched off but the symbol on the dashboard which has a line going through the stop start doesn’t show as it should, I’ve had a diagnosis done on the car and there are no faults, I’m a bit stumped as to what it is, also I have seen bmw diagnostic software for sale on eBay is this worth getting as I’m not too sure, I’ve never had a bmw till last week, I’ve always been a Volvo man, I bought volvo Vida software from eBay and that works fine but not too sure what one to get for my BMW 2012 F30, if you could help it would be much appreciated, thanks.
