Fix Or Sell Z3
Hi Clare, had a similar issue on my last 3 series vert, in my case the seals were ok and it was the roof itself soaking up water, which run forwards on the side rails and then poured into the car in the corners where it joined the top of the windscreen. Also on the E36 there where drain holes either side at the top of the windscreen in the rubber seals that block up over time. I cured mine by cleaning the roof and drain holes and waterproofing the canvas with fabsil (tent waterproofer) from Halfords.

Picking Up My E91 On Saturday..... Excitement Overload!
Hi Rich, been running an 05 320d for a cpl of months, only issues I've experienced to date are poor MPG which improved after replacing both egr and main thermostats (engine was not getting to correct running temp) and a small diesel leak after filling up (which I believe is due to a damaged breather pipe, caused by rubbing in the weel arch), both common problems. You may also want to read up on swirl flaps as these were known to fail on earlier E46 diesels but have apparently been sorted out on the newer model.

Window Tints
Had the rear windows tinted a cpl of weeks ago, the two larger rear windows have a few small marks/ bubbles/ maybe foreign objects between the film and glass. Is this to be expected as I have only ever had factory tints before.

Help. Help
Welcome to the club, I've recently changed from a 2.5 petrol to a 2.0d and Im more than happy with the performance, but as Dabsy said the 3.0 maybe a better option in the 5, nice looking motor

Advice Needed Control Arms
Hi Rhys, I always try and change both sides at the same time if funds allow if only to save a trip back to the garage at a later date. I used the Meyle HD control arms, bushes and drop links on my old E36, they where definitely better quality than the standard, slight improvement on the road (this may just be because they were new), didn't keep the car long enough to test the warrantee :(
