    Xdrive faults loss of traction

    Hi all, I am new to this forum, I was having issues with my xdrive and with thanks to this page I brought new tyres and the xdrive issues dissapeared. But just lately I have had a clunking noise when changing down gears, but today i lost all traction, I have a lot of whining noises, and then it catches a gear. I have taken to my local garage and on the ramp there is no power to rear wheels, my question is do you guys this its a straightforward fix or a replacement Xdrive transfer box ? it is a 2013 320d estate..
