Good morning all Starting a few little jobs on the f11 530d The tailgate struts are visibly corroded Ive seen recons on ebay si im going to change them. Has anyone done this previously and could share their experience please. Regards Mike

Ok first stupid question....the clocks on the dash dont include engine temp....how on earth can i check or monitor it

Hi there Thanks for tge message.... The maroon monster has done 195k and the paintwork really does show it.the interior has a few holes so apart from the one in the interior roof liner im going to get some new bit of trim and replace them.the car is booked in next week for a new oil filter and oil when it will also get a once over from a trusted mechanic friend (he looks after my Tr2).im not shy on doung tge basic stuff myself so air filters etc can be whipped out etc,the cabin filter was blooked with leaves lol Just trying to find a haynes manual for if ref as the engine bay layout is new to me.id luje to remove the dog gaurd but its very well secured and not obvious how to remove.
