Thanks Trevor ! i had thought of that, but then I’m going to make the ride harder ? As you say more use should help and if no improvement I’ll get my mechanic friend to disconnect the track rod ends and see if there’s any stiffness anywhere. ?

Like to say Hello ! to everybody as a newbie ! I’ve recently bought a 323i. 2007 Auto with a genuine 7000 miles on the clock .( Import from Japan ). Can’t believe the condition as it looks and drives like a new car. Having had a Rover 75 for 15 yrs , I find the 323i a hard ride and with run flat tyres it’s mutch more marked . Also I notice the steering is heavier at low speed than I expected . There is a noticeable stiction , tendency to stay where you put it ,under 20 mph which I’m sure is not normal. ? Wondered if there is any history of powered steering problems or tight ball joints for example ? Advice on tyre pressures running solo would also be appreciated .! John .
