    Alloy/tyre change advice

    Hi everyone A little advice needed please. My rear alloy has cracked and I've been advised to either drop the wheels down a size or put a higher tyre on. I'm currently running 245/40r19 runflats and these are standard fit on the car. I really don't want to drop down to 17" alloys as the 19s are gorgeous. So can I go up a tyre size? I've been told that i can increase quite a bit if I use a spacer? Doesn't mean an awful lot to me I'm afraid 😞
