He said he tried a HiD bulb and it blew straight away should he try a xenon?

If it's not the ballast or the bulb what else could it be? If the ballast had gone would it throw up any codes?

We're sure it's not the bulb, where could I get a ballast from? Other than BMW

Passenger side headlight stopped working he thinks it's the ballast but I can't seem to find one anywhere in the internet for his car anyone help? EDIT - sorry it's on a 56 plate 730D
