Hi All, New here and hoping to find some advice. I have a 3.0dse X5 2007 with an intermittent turbo problem. Basically, most of the time everything works fine and then for some reason every now and again the turbo will just stop kicking in. When this happens if the engine is turned off it seems to re-set and then work fine for a while. There doesn't seem to be any pattern as to when it stops. I have taken it to a garage and been told that it needs a new turbo. This does seem a little extreme, as to me it seems as though there must be a sensor issue of some kind. I know there are lots of posts about turbo issues but can't seem to find anything the same. If anyone has any advice or can tag me in the relevant post it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
