Finally bitten the bullet. My wife and have been arguing over a car for the last 8 or 9 months. Audi, Mercedes or BMW. I wanted a small sporty car. So S3 M135i or Mercedes A series. Well, our 10 year old E320cdi estate is a wonderful car but has started to fail in minor respects so a compromise has been reached. I wanted a rapid car but we have a dog. So we went to various Audi garages and looked at S4 Avants. Too expensive. Went back to Grassicks in Perth and put our dilemma across the table of the salesman. We had been twice before and had a cracking test drive in a 135i. We both giggled from start to finish. Anyway, to cut a long story short he sourced a 64 plate 335d M Sport Touring X Drive. Should be ready when I get back from my next Africa trip. Massive decision and we are both hoping it will fill the shoes of our beloved Merc.
