2012 AH3 due its 40,000 mile service. Bmw dealership quoted £950!! As the ZF 8hp transmission oil requires replacing (apparently fluid alone is £290). i can't find real evidence to support or not support the transmission service requirements other than its driving based ( I do a lot of motorway miles). can anyone advise?

There is a difference in air con temperature between the front passenger vents and the driver vents. Both currently set to 16 degrees c, but the drivers side blows warm air. I am also getting minimal air blown through the rear vents. I have fiddled with settings, circulated external and internal air etc. My previous car was like a fridge when the air con was set so low, but not this one. The Scottish temperatures of 20 degrees c (yep that it!) are becoming uncomfortable without the windows down. Any advice gratefully received. (2012 active hybrid 3)

Estimate for repair is over £4,000 and the car will be off the road for 2 weeks... Thank god for insurance! Thanks for your advice, I'll check them out. :)

Cheeky wee 1996 fireblade.

My active hybrid 3 was targeted and keyed this weekend. I now have have a 'designer' key scratch around the car with the odd added score in the paint work 'for flair'.The vandal even kindly applied deep scores to my bonnet, boot, windscreen and side windows. Yep it's a real good job done😡 Can anyone advise a camera security system that would record as much data around the car as possible? I am concerned that the vandal may strike again. Gutted.

Can anyone advise? Recently purchased my active hybrid 3 auto. Have noticed a 'judder' when reaching around 30mph in comfort mode. It's almost as if the car us disgruntled when moving from one gear to the next. This is my first automatic, so I wondered if it was my driving ?!! I haven't experienced this in Eco pro mode. Not tried it in sport mode. Next step is a bmw garage.

Finally bought the car of my dreams! Active hybrid 3. 0-62 in 5.2 seconds says it all...exactly when can I achieve this?!! But hey, it's almost as much fun as the 'blade'!
