  1. Just outside of Barrow in Furness, but I work in Germany mainly. I'm back at the start of March to collect the car.
  2. Ah the Focus STOC was a good club, I enjoyed a few meets their and made some good friends on there.
  3. Mine was firstly, practicality. I am about to be on my third Touring as I work in Germany, so I need to lug a fair bit of kit about. The new one ticks performance greatly, but the other reason was price. I don't pay tax for cars out here (about the only good thing about being in the Forces) so for what I paid, comparing it to its rivals, it was a no brainier really.
  4. Hi Patrick, glad to see another Cumbrian in a Touring, best colour as well! Will have to make an excuse to come to Whitehaven when I get my 335d in 15 days, not that I'm counting!
  5. The DC5 is a brilliant car, hence why I bought it back! I am looking forward to the 335d, for me they really are the ultimate all rounder. I have seen A company called Evolve, who deal with ECU Modules. Are they a reputable company? Looking at Birds and AC Schnitzer tuning, they seem to charge an absolute fortune for what looks to be essentially the same thing. It's early days yet, but when funds allow, I am looking at having the exhaust upgraded to one either side, as per the previous model. Any advice as to where to look? Again, AC Schnitzer do it, but it's a bit steep at circa £2k.
  6. Hello, Thought I would join this site since I'm on my third BMW. Currently on my second F30 320d M Sport touring, but that is going at the end of the month as I take hold of a 335d M Sport touring - the ultimate diesel in my opinion. I've always wanted one, just don't ask me the price - I'm in the Forces, based in Germany, and we get cars tax free! I also own a DC5 Integra Type R, a car I have owned twice (long story). Fantastic machine, one I will keep forever. If anyone has any advice on the 335d by all means, drop me a line. Already ordered some AC Schnitzer lowering springs for it, as the X Drive sits slightly higher. Tuning a possibility, depends how long I keep it! All the best, Foxy
