Hi Steve, The main bolt holding the pulleys came loose and the turbo malfunctioned. We drove the car ( after the turbo refurbishment ) to Spain and back with no trouble at all. Your second ? is way above my knowledge. ( I am a 76 year old and having a job keeping up with modern technology ). I will ask my garage for this information and pass it on to you as soon as I get it. Thank you for trying to help me Best regards Mike

Had turbo re furbished. Now turbo kicks in and out at random. Replaced relay some wiring and diesel filter. It is out for 2 or 3 days and back for maybe a week Any ideas would be very welcome as have spent £600 and still no nearer a solution. Any help would be very welcome.
