  1. Hi Guys, Probably been discussed a thousand times but I am new to the site and BMW. I was for my sins for many years an avid Alfa fan (sorry) Yesterday all my ABS lights came on and my speedometer also did not register. Then it went away again? I am expecting it to come back though as this is of course a sign that something is wrong. Bottom Line what would be the worst case scenario? I don't imagine in this case that it is simply a wheel sensor. Cheers Sam
  2. Hi Guys, Thanks for the tips. I have as an experiment put 17 inch rims and tires on the car. I must say it is way more comfy. Although I have put winter tires on which are a bit sticky if you know what I mean. You kind of feel glued to the road. I was also trying to replace my old cassette player/navigation. But could not find an adapter anywhere to accommodate the pins that come out of the back of the original unit. Don't know if anyone else ever had this problem? Two of them one blue and one white. Cheers Sam
  3. Hi Guys, I thought I would join up as I am now the proud owner of a 540i E39 from 2001. Plus I had a couple of questions... 1. What are your opinions on tyre size? I have now 19 inch but feels pretty uncomfy to me. Although I do have original Alpina rims which look great 2. I am thinking if going down to 18 inch? would I notice the difference? Hope to hear from you guys Cheers Sam
