  2. Thank you. I had a bit of a shock when I got home the the other day the orange engine light came on, so I had a nose around under the bonnet and found the air intake hose was perished and split half a ton of insulation tape later lights out! I've got a new hose on order. Phew :). That might explain why it felt a little lazy off the throttle. When I bought the car I noticed that the two fronts were wearing on the inner edge, I was given a new tyre with the car and negotiated the other and price of tracking, but doing some digging apparently the E46 suffers from lower wishbone bushes wearing/going soft. Is it worth replacing them with Poweflex bushes? I think they work out £60 a pair if I press them into the originals, although I have found some Meyle????? ever heard of them? Also there are these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E46-325Ci-330Ci-MSPORT-M-TECH-LOWER-WISHBONE-ARM-POLY-BUSHES-UPRATED-66-MM-/251394679843?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a884a6423 but suspicious they may be Chinese copies of Powerflex. BTW I turned the steering to full lock and gave the wheel a kick and it does move when I hoof it so they may be soft.
  3. Hi think it's wise to introduce myself. I've just become the proud owner of a 2002 330ci which I picked up for a bargain price. :-)
