  1. Thanks again Dave, My local BMW dealer called me this morning and told me that the anti-roll bars are NOT interchangeable so I will live with it for the moment and look at options later. I liked Subaru, had two Legacy turbo estates back in the day (traffic pulled over to let me pass in the white one !!) and then imported a JDM T/TB in 2002 and kept it for years and years. One of the best cars I have had and tweaked no end. It brought a smile to my face which the BMW has yet to do. Cheers Brian.
  2. Thanks Dave, I tried a few vin decoders but the ones that worked just gave me basic details of the car, not build specs' but I am sure it does not have adaptive suspension. Realoem "seems" to indicate that the anti-roll bars are interchangeable and do have a different part number but I still can't find positive detail that shows the m-sport one is stiffer. I am still waiting for a response from BMW customer services. Cheers Brian.
  3. I have had the 2015 f45 225i xdrive Luxury for 7 months now and even the wife comments on the soft and bouncy ride. Replacing the run flats with proper tyres (Hankook Kinergy all season - front 36.rear34psi) improved the handling and harshness of the ride but the oem suspensions just seems very soft. It has no option settings on the car and it has a genuine 21k miles over 6 years so shocks should not be worn. I have had the suspension given a general check over after a wheel alignment and all OK, no leaks, nothing broken, all looks tight, no obvious fault. On my old Subaru Forester a thicker anti-roll bar, subframe lock bolts and KYB shocks worked wonders for the ride. Before I look to replace the shocks, which really shouldn't be necessary at 21k miles, is there anything else that I can look at first ? I was wondering if the Active Tourer M-Sport has stiffer/uprated anti roll bars and if so ?? are they interchangeable with the Luxury as this would be an obvious solution. Any thoughts appreciated. Cheers Brian.
