07 320I Coupe Reliability

Hi I'm new to the BMW world.

I test drove 2 320i coupes yesterday. One with 36k and one with 59k. Quite like the one with 59k as I prefer black. Lower mileage one is grey (mileage is swaying me towards that tho) they're both petrol and fsh. Was all set to buy one and then I read a few dodgy reviews when I got home regarding their reliability.

Are they really that bad? Read some gd reviews for the diesel version. Should I look for a diesel one instead?

No worse than any other German car mate... Go for the one you like and ignore the demons as she'll run well for many years (I love straight-sixes me lol)

People can be too finicky about their cars and that gives bad press to a somewhat bullet-proof motor ;)

As above.

All cars have there car points, but only BMWs ate BMWs... You will know what I mean by that when you buy one

And yes, go for a diesel...but I'm just diesel biased lol

Whatever you go for mate, it's bullet proof.

Enjoy
