Hi all .

I have a 96 316i that has just started t blowing fuse number 37 (10 amp).

When I turn the lights on it pops the fuse and i lose the front offside side light, the rear o/s tail light, the illumination lights on the instrument cluster.

I have had a look around and cannot see anything too obvious, Oh and it seems to give me extra interference throuhg the radio when the light switch is on and when it is off the interference disappears,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction as this is driving me mad.

Cheers Frostoff

Guest Mister Dabsy

Also check the "flimsy" earth wire to the h/light (or rear) cluster(s)...

Also, make sure the common ground blocks (earthing) are tight ! Just an idea.

Otherwise it will be a short circuit unless Ian is correct with the ballast issue with HID !
