Hi all

My 135i has had a new downpipe and intercooler, and is now making 386BHP and 403ibs/foot, and I want to upgrade the clutch.

My longer term plans are to get the care to around 450bhp. Any advice on best performance cltches?

cheers

Morning Nick

Things are getting serious in the engine department, with your planned future power hike have you searched for a twin plate upgrade ?

I had a highly tuned Cosworth Sapphire in the early 90's 400+hp the clutch was Sachs unfortunately as happened in those days the Cos was stolen !! So I can't give any information on clutch life never had it long enough. It was replaced with a Lotus Carlton that was the last manual car I owned.

Good Luck keep us updated (well me really)

Well after much research I went for the SPEC BMW N54 SPEC-Design Single Mass Flywheels (8-Bolt) / Aluminium × 1 and the SPEC BMW N54 SPEC-Design Clutches Stage 3 from ML performance. The stage 3 clutch allows for up to 570 lbs, which is reassuring. Just need to find a reputable fitter now.....hahahah
