Bmw 320i e93 best oil to use

Good evening every one I was just wondering if someone could help me choose the best oil for my 320i e93 convertible as I know they suffer with the lifters and mine are starting to sound a little ticky iv been told to use 5w30 c3 oil but not sure what brand to use and it does have stop start technology many thanks

Special BMW approval for fully synthetic long-life oil. Viscosities are SAE 0W-30, 0W-40, 5W-30 and 5W-40. Usually required for BMWs equipped with a diesel particulate filter (DPF). ... This specification requires a low SAPS, usually ACEA C5 compliant, 0W20 oil. As long as they meet LL04 as a minimum

The real trick I am told is interim oil changes leaving  changes until the service indicator triggers is not good for these engines

Many thanks for your reply I am definatly going to use a 5w30 c3 low saps oil. What is the best brand to use for these engines im thinking of castrol edge or something like that and I plan on changing the oil every 4000 miles.

Castrol Edge will be fine 4k changes should keep everything clean and slick
