Morning I assume it is the 3.0i petrol the X5 is a heavy beast for the 6 to pull around I did now a lad in Worthing that had a tuned 3.0i it wasn't very economical though, not much to choose between his and mine in MPG. That might have had something to do with his right foot though. He had it converted to LPG as well, so if it's power you want trade it for a V8 or a Diesel the diesel responds well to tuning. If its economy trade it for the Diesel

Hi Rich

I have found with remapping that it is the improved flexibility of the engine/drivetrain that does it for me. 

Makes it smoother and flexible in round-town driving and economy improved on extra-urban runs allowing me to come off throttle/turbo a little which improves things all round.

Cost, well...that's a little harder to justify
