Hello everyone,

Name is Mike, based in Rayleigh in Essex, UK. I've just recently bought my first BMW, which happens to be an 2006 E60 M5.

Quick overview:

- 2006/06 Model

- Space Grey

- 2 previous owners

- 45,000 genuine miles

- New/replacement throttle body actuators

- Recent new clutch and flywheel

- Has a full clean bill of health from BMW, took it to a local BMW specialist made up of ex BMW technicians and they were very impressed at it's mechanical condition, happy days.

- Black leather interior with brushed aluminium trim.

The police were arresting one of Southend On Sea's finest in the background lol:

I don't really have any plans for it as such, because it's a very clean and good condition example. The only things I may consider doing is buying an Eisenmann race exhaust for it to let out the V10 howl a bit better as I am a bit of a sucker for sound. I'm also probably going to get some RPI intake scoops along with the BMC performance air filters with block off plates, just to let it breathe a bit better.

I very much look forward to getting to know some other like minded owners/enthusiasts on here and perhaps getting along to some meets or events and meeting you all. On that note any other M5 owners on here?

Regards,

Mike.

EDIT: I've been browsing the forum but struggling to find it. Can someone tell me or send me a link to where/if there is any information about any sort of events or meets in the Essex area? Would appreciate it, thanks in advance.

Hi Trevor,

Thank you for the warm welcome mate and the kind words. :-)

Yeah I did have a good search before asking the question but couldn't find anything about any regional meets.

If you or anyone else you know happen to know of anything that maybe upcoming in the future, whether it's maybe a simple pub meet on weeknight or a full blown weekend event then please let me know. Would be great to get out and get to meet a few likeminded people

Mike.

I used to have a Facebook account about 2 and a half years ago, it did my head in big time and spent too much time on it lol. I'll see if I can peer through on a friends account to the page if they will allow me to do so.

I'll have a think about it and if I decide to sign up again then I'll certainly head over to your page.

Beautiful M5, nothing beats this naturally aspirated V10. And a personal favourite of the space grey. Would love to see this M5 in person. You should defo arrange some sort of meet. All the best with your monster!!
