Hi,

I am reaching out to inquire about a specific matter regarding flywheel parts for my vehicle.

I have been investigating the following flywheel part numbers and would like to determine if they are compatible for the same flywheel:

	1. 8681723

	2. 8690203

	3. 9454556

From my research, I found that part number 1 is applicable for vehicles manufactured from 2016 to early 2017. In contrast, part numbers 2 and 3 are meant for vehicles produced from July 2017 onwards. My vehicle, a 2017 BMW F30 330e (RWD, 1998cc, 185KW, 252HP B48B20A), falls under part number 1, as it was manufactured in April 2017.

Given that these models are closely related, I am curious if the later part numbers (2 and 3) could also function in my vehicle. In the UK, I have been unable to locate aftermarket part number 1 at a reasonable price, but options for part numbers 2 and 3 are abundant.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or clarification anyone can provide on this matter.

	Thank you for your assistance.

Finally tearing into the issues with this new to me 2006 325xi

i left it on charge all day, and it was drawing almost 7 amps after the battery finished charging.

I checked the relays and fuses and the one labeled 30g was warm to the touch, but the car had been off all day.

I pulled it out and I noticed the automatic transmission gear selector light went out, which had been on whether the car was on or not.

I’m not sure if the draw went down, I was measuring with a battery charger and after I opened the door it changed the power draw of course.

So I pulled my OBD II Port and I found that pins 1, 8 and 15 are not present. I also found this rectangular box with some type of capacitor in it attached to the harness with the two can bus wires going through it.

So I pulled the OBD II ports on those as well to check if they were the same, and oddly enough the other 2008 model was setup differently but the 2010 model was setup the same as my white 2008 model. I am planning to buy a 3 series 2018 320D M sport model 77k miles in total. Everything looks good. Has got all service history. Only issue is that when I checked the front side, I can see that crankcase breather pipe is damaged which cause some oil leaks appearing on the pipe. If the dealer say they will replace that, would I consider buying that car. Or this is a starting of all problems. And walk away without buying. Is this leak is a common issue ?. Please advise.

F30 b48 shifting problems after flashing original soft

Hi, I have F30 330i xdrive.

A few days ago, I flashed the original software back from Stage 1. Everything seemed OK until I drove in Comfort mode. The car upshifts under 1000 RPM, and when I press the gas, it doesn’t downshift (it never did this before). Also, the Sport Display (where HP and Nm are shown) is showing some nonsense numbers. The torque should be the original 350 Nm, but the display is going over 450, same with the power. The transmission is completely fine; cruise control also shifts fine.

The car had tuned 305HP and 480NM and now should has 252HP and 350NM

Thanks for every advice

Dde relay

I have a 2014 320d msport can someone please tell me where the dde relay is located?

Loud ABS pump noise please help!

Hi all,

I got my 2023 320D BMW G21 and all it was ok. but now its making this crazy noise out of the ABS pump. Took it to local BMW specialist who said I need parts 63 11 7 181 295 and 63 11 7 181 296 (as I thought best to get both replaced due to age) as they are the adaptive/halo style. Ebay and internet search shows they are difficult to get hold of, and approx £1k each if new. Does anyone know where to get these parts in the UK at a sensible price, or if lower cost headlight units can be used - I’m not bothered re the adaptive function, just want working headlights that don’t cost more than the car value! Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.
